> Bed linen and towels are included in all bookings, though please bring your own beach towels
> We also have a number of extras at no cost for children: stair gates, cots, high chairs, changing mats, toys, kids toilet sets, baby bath, toddler steps, bed barriers. Please add a note as to what you’d like.
> One generous basket of logs is included upon arrival (winter time)
> Good WiFi throughout the barn and cottage, with Netflix and Disney+on all TVs
> There are two x 22KW Electric Vehicle charge points in the barn car park (small charge at cost payable on site)
> Green and Spring toiletries provided, with Rebecca Tracey bath foams
> Essentials are provided, such as cleaning materials, salt, pepper, some starter tea, coffee etc.
> Full weeks only in the school holidays, otherwise there is a minimum two night stay. Our changeover days are Fridays (there can be flexibility outside of school holidays, please just ask)

“What a stunning place! We had lovely stay and willows rest was perfect for us as a family of 11. The house is beautiful, with stylish interiors and lots of little luxury touches that really make a difference. It felt instantly welcoming, and you can tell Raymond and Emily have put so much thought into making it feel like a proper home rather than just a holiday let... amazing for families with young children — everything had been thought of. Having things like toddler steps, a bath mat, a proper cot, bath wash and highchairs made travelling with little ones so much easier and stress-free. “Wow, just wow! This place is so special and the owners have thought of everything and more. I have only positive feedback. The place is immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We booked the place for a family special occassion and could have moved in. Its spacious and with all the extra's they added, made for a relaxing long weekend. We made full use of the pool and hot tub. It was very private and quiet. We will be back! “Had an amazing stay at Willows Restaurant. Everything was top quality and was very well set up for a groups of adults and kids. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to keep everyone occupied (hot tub and a pool is a great combo!) and a selection of kids toys as well! Communication was great throughout with no issues at all. “Had an amazing 3 night stay at willow’s rest with friends. It’s a superb barn & the décor is 5*, every room is decorated to a very high standard. Plenty of room for everyone & very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we’ve all had! It’s was spotlessly clean, we can’t fault any of it. The swimming pool & hot tub are a bonus. Raymond was very friendly & nothing was too much trouble if we needed him. And the brownies were delicious, left by owners & a lovely welcome basket. “What an absolutely amazing barn, cottage, and surrounding grounds. We spent a week here during the October half term celebrating three birthdays and a retirement — and had the most fantastic time. The property is faultless: high-spec, luxurious, and beautifully maintained. We’ve truly never stayed anywhere like it. Raymond was brilliant — always available to answer questions, even while away on his own family holiday. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. If you’re considering booking, do it! “Found this gem of a place for a post GCSE family holiday celebration. The most well equipped, relaxing, comfortable and spacious stay we have ever had. Raymond was fantastic from start to finish, very welcoming and nothing too much of a problem. Amazingly generous welcome pack , amazingly clean , with fantastic pool and hot tub that was used everyday. Beautiful quiet surounding very near to Totnes and Dartmouth. Did not explore the towns too much as the house was too nice . A very much needed break and what a place to have it !!!” June 2025

“Everything about our stay was amazing. A wonderful property in an amazing part of the world. Everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed the stay - young children, parents and grand parents! The pool and hot tub were enjoyed every day, play area for the kids all wonderfully maintained. Plenty of space in the property for family feasts and games. Spacious for quiet times too. EV charges for the cars were also used. Spoke to Raymond before our stay and was greeted with goodies in a welcome hamper. Met Raymond a couple of times during the stay in passing, and is a lovely, welcoming host.” May 2025

pricing
If you choose the dates you are looking for on the calendar below, it will tell you pricing for those chosen dates. In 2025, pricing for a full week ranges from around £2,000 to around £5,150 for peak summer weeks. The cottage is an addition.
Short breaks from 2 nights are available and start from £1,449
Pricing is done with Friday changeovers. If you try doing mid week into the next week, sometimes the pricing comes up with odd (vey high!) rates. Please contact us if this happens, we’ll give the correct one. Apologies if this happens.

Please note, the cottage is only rented with the barn and guests have the option of taking just the barn, or the barn and the cottage. We do not rent just the cottage. When choosing your dates, the “barn” calendar is shown below, or scroll down further to the “barn and cottage” calendar. Both calendars will show the same availability, but please choose the appropriate one to get the right price.
You can scroll the calendar below to check availability and obtain pricing. This will generate a booking request, but will not be instantly bookable. To confirm bookings we will take a 30% deposit via bank transfer only please. Apologies, but we cannot accept credit and debit cards.
Unfortunately we are not able to accept dogs and other pets at Willows Rest.
